Three things hypnosis cannot do

"Hypnosis" is a term that everyone is familiar with. Aside from being oral in real life, it is also featured in many movies, comics, and magic shows. There are, however, three things hypnosis cannot do.

Hypnosis cannot hypnotize a robot, which is one of the three things it cannot do.Check Hypnotherapy Gold Coast

1. For humans, hypnosis can do anything. However, can robots be hypnotized?

AI is no longer science fiction because, for many years, AI has been involved in medicine, education, and services. Yesterday's theoretical algorithms have become today's practical applications.

Robots today are quite intelligent, but they cannot be autonomous. They still need human commands to perform their tasks. Robots do not operate independently. They do not have memories or motivation. The only thing they can do is what is programmed for them.

That's an interesting question. Suppose AI advances to the point of being more intelligent than humans, can they be hypnotized by hackers like us? Would it be a disaster if a hacker attacked it?

Some researchers, however, still believe that we can use artificial intelligence to create a more "natural" form. It is common to create an artificial neural network that mimics the activity of the human brain. Can we ensure that those robots will not be hypnotized as easily as humans if that happens?

It is impossible to hypnotize robots in reality.

2. Hypnosis does not cure serious diseases like cancer or AIDS.

Cancer and AIDS are two diseases for which there is no cure in the world today. Approximately a million people die from these diseases each year. It is true that hypnosis is only able to relieve the pain that a patient has to endure, but it cannot cure these diseases. Even so, it contributes greatly to giving patients a more comfortable experience before they die.

3. Finally, hypnosis cannot alter the appearance of people, which is the final thing it cannot do.

Only an accident, serious injury, or plastic surgery can change a person's appearance. While hypnosis affects only the brain, it can control the thoughts and actions of the hypnotized person, but it cannot change the appearance of the person. Additionally, hypnosis cannot heal wounds. Pain can only be relieved, stress reduced, and the wound can heal more quickly.

One may undergo plastic surgery if they want to change their appearance to look more beautiful or if they do not want to be recognized by others. It is a myth that hypnosis can change someone's appearance
