WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE HYPNOTHERAPY AS A CAREER?

In 2009, I started working as a hypnotherapist. At the time, I was 25 years old and had been bouncing around from job to job, unsure of what I wanted to accomplish with my life. I'd always wanted to help others and had used therapeutic talents in some of my past positions. So I decided to train as a therapist and enrolled in Glynis' programme.

A one-year hypnotherapy certificate was included, which I thought would be fascinating. I didn't know much about hypnosis at the time, other than what I'd seen on TV shows like Little Britain, and I was focused on making a profession out of counselling. However, following my first Glynis lesson, I was hooked on hypnosis and knew it was what I wanted to pursue.

Fast forward to today, and I'm a full-time hypnotherapist with a booming practise in the heart of a bustling town centre. I also have a counselling certificate, but hypnotherapy has become my passion.

THESE ARE THE REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD ALSO CHOOSE HYPNOTHERAPY AS A PROFESSION.

•Hypnotherapy is far more than meets the eye. This was something I noticed in my first hypnotherapy lesson, and it's something I see in a lot of the students I teach now. Hypnotherapy is frequently misunderstood as "hocus pocus," and hypnosis-based entertainment has a lot to account for. The truth is that hypnotherapy is a powerful and essential tool for helping people make positive, long-lasting changes in their lives. Hypnosis Course may help patients with a wide range of problems, and as a hypnotherapist, you'll get to be a part of that process.

• There's no better feeling than knowing you've helped someone achieve something they previously thought was unattainable. Whether it's helping someone quit smoking after twenty years, drop ten stone after trying every diet imaginable, or overcome a phobia that's plagued them for as long as they can remember, the warm feeling you get inside when you've helped someone in such a profound way never gets old. Being a hypnotherapist is a highly gratifying profession, and you'll be inspired every morning you wake up.

• You get to manage your own workload and be your own boss. Most hypnotherapists work for themselves, and while this may seem daunting at first, it could be one of the best decisions you ever make. You get to be your own boss as a self-employed hypnotherapist. You have complete control over the hours you work and the number of clients you see. This makes it an excellent choice for parents with school-aged children or anyone who is tired of the 9 to 5 grind.

• The possibilities are limitless. Being a hypnotherapist entails more than just working with people to help them solve their problems. There are many more options accessible. For example, as a result of my hypnotherapy practise, I now have the privilege of tutoring and training several new hypnotherapists each year. It has also resulted in writing and speaking opportunities. I've started my own wellness company, which stages a major event every year, and I've gotten a lot of additional possibilities, including a book deal. The same thing can happen to you. The limits are endless when you have a career in hypnotherapy.

• You can make a decent living. Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could have a job that you adore, that makes you feel entirely fulfilled, and that pays well? Although money should never be the driving force behind everything you accomplish, you still need to be able to pay your bills and maintain a reasonable level of living. The good news is that working as a hypnotherapist can assist you in achieving your goals. You can earn enough money to cover all of your outgoings with a little left over if you only see a few clients every week. If you go into Hypnosis Course to make money, you might find that it doesn't work out. However, if you do it for the correct reasons, you'll soon discover that you may reap financial rewards while also assisting individuals in making true, long-term changes in their lives.
